James Walker Keaflex invests £200k in 250 tonne vertical press
ERJ staff report (BC)
Bordon, UK – Elastomer seal specialist James Walker Keaflex has introduced a Maplan vertical injection moulding machine rated at 250 tonnes clamping force, with a view to reducing cycle times and increasing efficiency on large and complex (including 3D) mouldings.
The press’s platen retracts horizontally to facilitate loading and removal of moulds, making production quicker and safer. Its large size accommodates more cavities in each mould to boost throughput.
