Continental voted 'Best Car Tire Brand in Germany'
ERJ staff report (TP)
Hanover, Germany – Continental received more acclaim when German magazine AutoBild published the results of its annual reader survey of the "Best Brands in all Classes" for all aspects relating to cars.
In the "Car Tires" class, about 70,000 readers voted for Continental as the best car tire brand in Germany in all three surveyed image criteria.
The Hanover-based brand amassed 70 percent of the votes for "Quality," 53 percent for "Sportiness," and 37 percent for "Value for Money". The readers' poll covered a total of 23 classes.
"Of course, we are delighted that the readers of AutoBild have once again delivered such a positive verdict [and] the positive appraisal in terms of 'Value for Money' shows that many readers understand that the premium quality of the products from our tire brand Continental comes with a corresponding price tag," said Wolfgang Thomale, Head of Marketing and Sales at Continental for the Passenger Car and Light Truck Tire Replacement Business in Germany/Austria/Switzerland.
