EU tyre label will 'improve market dynamics' - Aeolus

Dordrecht, the Netherlands - Chinese tyre maker Aeolus Tyres believes mandatory EU tyre labels will provide extra opportunities in the market, according to the company's European distributor, Heuver Tyrewholesale.
Aeolus says labels will also help to challenge established brand reputations. “The buying process will become more transparent and all tyre brands will have the same opportunitiesâ€, commented Bertus Heuver, director of Heuver Tyrewholesale.
He added, “The European tyre label gives everyone an equal footing, whereby existing reputations will no longer be the sole consideration. We expect labelling to result in a more transparent buying process, with greater opportunities for young brands like ours.â€
