Tokyo - Mitsubishi Chemical Corp. (MCC) has established a regional management company in Singapore, as part of a strategy to expand its performance polymers business in the “fast-growing” ASEAN and Indian markets.
The Tokyo-based materials supplier said its ‘consolidated subsidiary’, Advanced Plastic Compounds Singapore will be renamed Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers Asia Pacific (MCPP Asia Pacific) as of 1 April.
The company will look to improve the business, which involves the production and sale of thermoplastic elastomers, PVC compounds, and performance polyolefins.
