Ulvila, Finland – Cimcorp is to expand its production and office facilities at its headquarters in Ulvila, the Finnish company announced 8 May.

The project will nearly double the footprint of Cimcorp’s current 9,500-square-metre site: enabling it to accommodate business growth and expand R&D. Construction is set to begin soon, with the facilities expected to be ready in summer 2019.

The current facilities include 5,800 square meters dedicated to manufacturing and 3,700 square meters of office space. The expansion will extend the floor area by 7,900 square meters, adding 5,700 square meters for production and 2,200 square meters for offices.

With more manufacturing space, Cimcorp said it “can meet growing customer requirements and volume increases with greater production capacity and the ability to manage larger-sized projects.”

The decision to expand the Ulvila facilities reflects a sustained increase in orders and continued investment in product development, according to Masatoshi Wakabayashi, CEO, Cimcorp Oy.

“This new, larger facility will help us strengthen our position as a leading supplier of automated solutions for the tire and distribution industries,” said Wakabayashi.
