GM quality awards for three Bridgestone Europe plants
Brussels – General Motors has given its 2015 Supplier Quality Excellence Awards to three Bridgestone tire plants, the tire maker announced 27 Sept.
Bridgestone plants at Bethune, Burgos and Pozna? received the global industry gongs at a ceremony held at GM Europe HQ at Russelsheim on 16 Sept.
Burgos and Bethune received the award for the first time, while for Pozna? it is the second time to be honoured.
The car company’s award, said Bridgestone, is based on “a stringent set of quality performance criteria” determined by GM and its quality management systems.
This “is a tribute to all of the team members in the plants who are fully committed to meeting the needs of our customers,” said said Christophe de Valroger, vice president (OE consumer) Bridgestone Europe NV/SA.
