Singapore – Giti Tire will provide its first GT Radial original equipment (OE) homologation fitments for the European passenger car and light truck markets with Renault Nissan and PSA Peugeot Citroen respectively.
Renault Nissan’s GT Radial Champiro VP1 will be fitted on Logan 2 and Sandero 2 models, under the Dacia or Renault badge.
PSA Peugeot Citroen’s GT Radial Champiro VP1 will be fitted to the Citroen Berlingo and Peugeot Partner.
Breaking into the European OE market with two major car manufacturers, and on leading production models, "is nothing short of exceptional," claimed Amaury Pouzet, OEM Europe business development director for Giti Tire.
The GT Radial Champiro VP1 was launched in May 2012. Specifications include a tread compound with high levels of grip in both wet and dry conditions which also reduces rolling resistance for increased mileage.
It is available in 22 sizes ranging from 165/80R13 to 205/55R16, with speed codes ranging from T-V.
