Falken Tyre Europe offers prizes in racing simulation game
ERJ staff report (TP)
Offenbach am Main, Germany – Falken Tyre Europe has teamed up with game developer SimBin to present the Falken Track Test Competition as a free extension of the racing simulation, RaceRoom Racing Experience.
Falken said RaceRoom Racing Experience, lets any player with Internet access indulge in a motor racing joyride on their computer.
Within the game, the Nürburgring GP circuit sets the scene for the high-speed chase in which players can take the Falken racer to new record-breaking lap times, win prizes and have an “exhilarating” motorsports experience.
From 13 January, players can step up to the challenge of the Falken Track Test Competition. The Nürburgring GP circuit provides the backdrop and the most demanding, “Get Real”, mode offers the chance to win prizes.
The player who delivers the fastest lap time on the virtual Nürburgring circuit with the Falken RUF RT12R in “Get Real” mode between 13 January and 24 February wins a brand-new set of Falken High Performance Tires. For the five runners-up there are fan packages and tickets for this year’s 24h-race at the Nürburgring race track.
All competitors with one counted lap will also be in the drawing for an additional set of tires given away by Falken Tyre Europe. Every player in possession of the RUF RT12R at the end of the competition receives the turquoise and blue finish free of charge after a successfully completed lap and will be able to use it in all races.
