London - Rubber prices resumed their downward trend on Tuesday. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, the six-month contract was trading down 3 yen at yen 240 ($3.01) on Tuesday 12 June. Shorter-dated prices were less affected by the positive sentiment, trading down 2 at yen 246 on Tuesday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down a cent at $2.86 for December deliveries on Tuesday; July prices were weaker, trading down 4 cents at $2.82.
In India, NMCE said June prices were down by 3 rupees at Rs 183 ($3.27). July prices also fell by a rupee to close at Rs 185
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for June closed down 0.3 at Yuan 22.9 ($3.59) per kilo on Tuesday. July prices were also lower, at yuan 22.7.
