Marl, Germany - On 2 June, Lanxess held a party for 400 guests at its Marl factory to mark 40 years of EPDM production there.
The unit now has capacity for 70kt/year of the terpolymer. Its products are sold under the Keltan brand name, which was developed by the DSM Elastomers group. Marl is one of the few plants in the world to use the slurry manufacturing process.
