Toyo sales, profits rise in full year

Osaka, Japan - Toyo said net sales rose by 9 percent in the 12 months to 31 March 2012; operating income rose by 5.8 percent.
The company reported Net Sales of 320,569 million yen (euro 3103 million), up by 26,476 million yen, or 9.0 percent compared to the same period in FY 2010). Operating income increased by 5.8 percent to 12,893 million yen.
The Tyre Business Unit has posted net sales of 241,708 million yen and operating income of 10,325 million yen.
The DiverTech Business Unit posted total sales of 78,814 million yen and operating
income of 2,073 million yen.
