London -- Rubber prices recovered slightly overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed up by 2 yen at yen 312 ($3.86) on 12 April. Shorter-dated prices rose fractionally to close just above yen 300 on Thursday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX closed up 4 cents at $3.69 for October deliveries on Thursday, while May deliveries closed up 1 at $3.64.
In India, NMCE said April deliveries closed unchanged at Rs 195 ($3.78).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for April closed up a fraction of a yuan at Yuan 29.1 ($4.61) per kilo on Thursday.
