London -- Rubber prices showed both up and down movements over the weekend. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed up by a yen at yen 337 ($4.18) per kg on 29 February. Shorter-dated prices closed unchanged at yen 320 on Wednesday.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading up by 3 cents at $3.86 for July deliveries and $3.80 for March deliveries a few minutes before the close on Wednesday. April deliveries were trading at 3.81.
In India, NMCE said March deliveries closed up by about 2 rupees at Rs 191 ($3.90).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for March rose by a fraction of a yuan to close at Yuan 29.6 ($4.70) per kilo on Wednesday.
