London -- Rubber prices were largely unchanged over the weekend, ahead of the Chinese New Year holidays, which begin today . On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed up one yen at yen 306 ($3.95) per kg on Monday 23 January. Shorter-dated prices were largely unchanged.
In Singapore, there was minimal trading ahead of the Chinese New Year holidays
In India, NMCE said February deliveries eased by Rs2 to close at Rs 195 ($3.91).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange was unchanged ahead of the New Year holidays to close at Yuan 28.2 ($4.46) per kilo.
