Moscow -- At a 23 December press conference, Shafagat Takhautdinov, General Director of  OAO Tatneft  outlined plans for large-scale current projects and reported on some of the Company's plans for 2012.

he said, "The main areas of the tyre manufacturing complex include further modernisation of the mass tyre production plant "Nizhnekamskshina", which will provide for replacement of outdated products with tyres of the next generation. "
