London -- Rubber prices plunged overnight to close below yen 300 in Tokyo. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed yen 290 ($3.70) per kg on Tuesday 1 Nov. Shorter-dated prices also fell sharply to close at yen 282.
In Singapore, SGX said RSS3 prices for Feb delivery closed down over $0.20 at $3.75 amid light trading. TSR20 for delivery in March 2012 closed down $0.19 at $3.71.
In India, NMCE said November deliveries remained unchanged to close at Rs 213 ($4.34) per kilo.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw November deliveries fall by almost of a yuan close at Yuan 27.4 ($4.31) per kilo.
