Nizhnekamsk tyre plants win ISO 16949

Nizhnekamsk, Tartarstan -- The two tyre factories in Nizhnekamsk have been accredited to the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 16949:2009. The two plants, OAO "Nizhnekamskshina" and OOO "Nizhnekamsk truck tyres" are both part of OOO "Tatneft-Neftekhim" Management Company

Tatneft said The truck tyre manufacturing factory was transformed into a limited liability company (OOO "NZGSH") in July 2011. It added, "From January 1, 2011, manufacturing of tyre products has been changed from a customer-owned feedstock basis to a traditional scheme."

These administrative moves, said Tatneft, have permitted improvements in the quality management processes at both plants.
