IRCo, ITRC, CRIA talk rubber in Qingdao

Qingdao, China -- Officials of the International Rubber Consortium Limited (IRCo) and International Tripartite Rubber Council (ITRC) met with officials from China Rubber Industry Association (CRIA) on 15 March in Qingdao. The groups discussed the price and availability of natural rubber.
A report in the Wall St Journal quoted IRCo acting Chief Executive Yium Tavarolit saying, "the associations will set up a working group this year to determine what actions can be taken to combat price volatility."
