Lanxess to present at Bio-tech conference

Washington DC -- Executives from Lanxess and Gevo will join other high-level speakers at BIO's 8th annual World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioprocessing. Claimed to be the world's largest industrial biotechnology conference for business leaders, investors, academics and policymakers in biofuels, biobased products, renewable chemicals, synthetic biology, food ingredients and biomass, the event returns to Toronto, May 8-11 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Featured plenary speakers include Patrick Gruber, CEO, Gevo and Ron Commander, Head of Butyl Rubber Business Unit, Lanxess. Lanxess has a close relationship with Gevo and aims to use Gevo's bio-sourced isobutanol in its butyl rubber manufacturing facilities.
