Westmoonint adds E-SBR to product range
ERJ staff report (DS)
Hong Kong -- WestMoonint has started selling styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) materials for automotive industry applications. The products include SBR 1502 grade and SBR 1712 grades from Sinopec Chemical Company. The company does not say if the oil-extended grades use unlabelled oils.
Westmoonint said in a press release, "The European automotive market is still healthy, and there is no such automotive plant closure, and the SBR market is relatively balanced. On the other hand, the price of SBR is growing from mid-August. Therefore, WestMoonint releases its SBR products during its price peak time, aiming to provide more synthetic rubber consumers more choices and solutions and help them to reduce cost."
The Hong Kong-based distributor of rubber polymers and chemicals expects to launch more synthetic rubber products, including EPDM and nitrile in the near future.
