Japanese vehicle registrations rising strongly
Tokyo -- JAMA (the Japanese Automobile Manufacturers Association) has just released data for new registrations of motor vehicles in Japan during October.
The data shows strong recovery in new registrations of all vehicle types over the same month in 2009, led by truck production where registrations almost doubled to 52 187 units, up 93.84 percent, with passenger cars and buses showing solid growth, with new registrations at 251 492 (up 74.06%) and 304 328 (up 76.84 percent) respectively.
Motorcyle registrations also rose, by 14.1 percent, reaching 29 277 units in Oct 2010.
