Imerys raises prices in N America
ERJ staff report (DS)
Atlanta, georgia -- Imerys Performance Minerals North America has announced price increases of 6-10 percent across their mineral portfolio, subject to any provisions in individual contracts. The increase includes calcium carbonate, kaolin, and mica products and is effective December 1, 2010, or as current price agreements expire.
The company blamed a significant escalation in mining, regulatory, fuel, power, chemical, and packaging costs for the increase.
