ANRPC meeting set for 26 Nov in Bangkok

Singapore -- The Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) is to hold its annual meeting in Bangkok on 26 November this year. The one-day event brings together the world's most senior representatives of the natural rubber community.
The meeting takes the title of "Challenges Faced by Natural Rubber Industry" and comprises ?? sessions with an opening ceremony.
The first session (Overview of global supply and demand for NR) features Dr. Djoko Said Damardjati, Secretary-General, ANRPC, Dr. Hidde P. Smit, Secretary-General, IRSG and Dr. James Jacob, Director, Rubber Research Institute of India.
The second session (Review of NR market and price) features papes from Sandana Dass, Managing Director/CEO, R1 International and Quah Swee Kheng, Secretary-General, ASEAN Rubber Business Council
The final session is a panel discussion featuring Ir. H. Daud Husni Bastari, Chairman. Rubber Association of Indonesia (GAPKINDO), Dr. Mohd Akbar Md Said, Deputy Director General (Research and Innovation), Malaysian Rubber Board, Lai Van Lam, Director, Rubber Research Institute of Vietnam, Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Kadir Secretary General, International Rubber Research and Development Board and Dr. Hidde Smit Secretary-General, International Rubber Study Group
The event takes place at the Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Bangkok on 26 November.
