Michelin North America announces price increases

Greenville, South Carolina -- As a result of continuing increases in raw material, energy and transportation costs, Michelin North America is increasing prices on a range of tyre product lines.
Earthmover and industrial tyre prices, including items on back-order, will increase up to 8 percent on products sold across North America effective June 1, 200
Passenger and light truck replacement tyre prices will increase by up to 8 percent on Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, private and associate brand tyres sold in the United States. This increase is effective for all shipments scheduled on or after July 1, 2008.
