Jyco opens Mexico plant

Guaymas, Mexico -- Jyco Sealing Technologies said all production lines in its new manufacturing plant in Guaymas, Mexico are now running at full capacity. The facility produces multiple thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) weathersealing systems for 750 vehicles per day.
Only fifteen employees are required to run the extruding lines and moulding stations producing glass run channels and lower door, sunroof and secondary seals at the highly automated 1600m2 plant. The facility, which is located 300 miles south of Tucson, Arizona, has been designed to be easily expanded to twice its size.
