Paris - Safic Alcan, the materials distributor, has opened subsidiary offices in Poland and Romania. Both opened in Spetember this year. Safic Alcan Polska is based in Warsaw, while Safic Alcan Romania is based in Bucharest. Safic already has a subsidiary in the Czech Republic.
Safic said the new subsidiaries will distribute speciality chemicals for the formulation industries, including rubber, adhesives and thermoplastics. The expansion will enable Safic to strengthen its presence across Eastern Europe, an area experiencing intense growth.
