Freudenberg-NOK appoints Vibracoustic N America president
Plymouth, Michigan -- Vibracoustic North America, the NVH business of Freudenberg-NOK, has appointed Dr Mehdi Ilkhani-Pour as president, according to a 1 Oct statement from the company.
Mehdi, who has over 20 years of management experience in technology, product development, marketing and sales, manufacturing, finance and general management in the automotive and industrial segments, will oversee Vibracoustic's operations with total revenue of approximately $150 million (€106 million).
"We welcome Mehdi to the Freudenberg-NOK and Vibracoustic family," said Dr Mohsen Sohi, chief executive officer of Freudenberg-NOK, in the statement.
"His in-depth technical and industry knowledge will ensure that our customers benefit from the latest advancements in noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) products provided by Freudenberg-NOK, the leading technology company in NVH solutions,†he added.
Mehdi joined Freudenberg-NOK in 1993 in the Manchester, New Hampshire facility, as Business/Technical director for the Plastic Products Division. He then went on to become president of the Automotive Vibration Division in 1996.
