Designer watch uses rubber, plastics
New York - A new range of fashion watches from US-based design company Nooka, features a non-conventional dial and is made from a combination of rubber and plastics. In these watches, the dial is made from a bright plastic, while the strap is made from rubber.
The Nooka zot design (pictured) displays the hours as a progression of 12 dots, while the minutes are represented by a bar positioned beneatth the hour markers. The watches are available in black, white, red, orange, yellow and blue. Alternative designs using similar materials are available from the company.
