Hanoi, Vietnam--Domestic tyre makers still sell the majority of tyres and tubes in Vietnam, according to local press reports. Nguyen Gia Tuong, director of Sao Vang Rubber Co, was quoted as saying the success of local companies is due to their continued investment in modern equipment. He said his own company has spent over VND 250 000 million (€12 million) on imported equipment for tyre- and tube-manufacture

The report refers to a number of local companies, quoting their senior management.
