Beijing--A story in the English-language version of the People's Daily in China says Beijing is preparing anti-monopoly laws which may restrict foreign ownership of entire industry sectors.
The piece specifies a number of industry sectors where foreign ownership dominates the Chinese industry, including tyres: "in tire industry, the playfield is occupied by foreign players like Michelin, Bridgestone, Goodyear, etc."
