Name change to Avon Technologies to avoid confusion between wider group and business units
Melksham, UK – Avon Protection plc has relaunched as Avon Technologies plc, three years after changing the company’s historical trading name of Avon Rubber.
The changing of the holding group’s name will improve clarity and ensure there is no confusion between Avon’s business units and the wider group, said the UK manufacturer 1 Aug.
The new name, Avon added, also embraces “the next stage of development - accelerating growth through innovation in technology.”
The group will maintain the names of its business units, Avon Protection and Team Wendy, which produce protection masks and ballistic helmets respectively.
