LiteEarth: the EPDM geomembrane liner for capping landfills

Austin, Texas – LiteEarth announced the performance, durability and regulatory compliance of its synthetic grass and EPDM geomembrane liner has been proven through extensive independent testing.

The press release said; “LiteEarth is designed to close landfills, coal ash sites and other land reclamation projects. Each of the components of LiteEarth has been separately tested to meet their stated performance requirements as part of the overall system, for properties such as tensile strength, puncture resistance, tear resistance, methane gas permeability, seam strength, flume testing, water vapour transmission, UV resistance, wind uplift and more.”

Charles Fleishman, director of LiteEarth, said: “The components of LiteEarth have been used successfully for decades, in a variety of applications.”

Fleishman further explained that by bonding synthetic turf to the EDPM, it reduces its exposure to UV, extending its lifetime performance well beyond exposed EPDM covers.

LiteEarth synthetic turf is manufactured by Act Global; who, according to their website, “have manufacturing facilities on three continents and sales in 70 countries”.
