Vibracoustic merges N American unit into global structure

Weinheim, Germany -- Vibracoustic North America (VNA) located in Plymouth, Michigan is to be integrated into the global Vibracoustic Group from 1 July.
Vibracoustic North America was established by Freudenberg NOK General Partnership (FNGP). It currently employs about 200 people and produces anti-vibration products for drive train, power train, chassis and suspension. Under the previous structure, VNA was a sister company to Vibracoustic Group.
Hans-Jürgen Goslar, CEO of Vibracoustic, said, “The heart of several of our customers' purchasing organization is located in America. Crucial decisions regarding the selection of suppliers for global platform contracts are taken there. The new organization will harmonize our approach toward customers and improve various coordination processes. We especially strive thereby to strengthen our position for winning global customer platforms.†As a result of the integration, both companies will be grouped under a single management with harmonized objectives and clearly defined responsibilities.
Vibracoustic, a company of the Freudenberg Group, generated a turnover of 680 million euro with 32 locations and 4500 employees in 2009.
