Jesse Zeringue steps down after 31 years of company service to pursue new opportunities
Port Neches, Texas – Lion Elastomers’ long-time president and chief executive officer Jesse Zeringue is stepping down after 31 years of service to pursue new opportunities, the company has announced.
In a 26 Aug statement, Lion said its board will immediately starts to identify a successor for Zeringue, who has been at the helm of the company for the past eight years.
Lion’s current chief technology officer and vice president of research and development Dr David Ward has been appointed to serve in the role as interim CEO.
According to Ward, under Zeringue’s leadership, Lion saw growth in key market segments, diversified its product offerings, and became 'a stronger company within the elastomers industry.'
