New, seven-membered executive committee to take office by yearend
Paris – French chemicals distributor Safic-Alcan has created a new management team to keep up with its significant growth in recent years.
The French group announced 14 September that its revenue had increased threefold over the past 12 years, making it “essential to reinforce the group management team.”
Since 2007, the distributor has been led by Martial Lecat, Philippe Combette and Jean-Michel Guyon.
Under the new management structure, an executive committee composed of seven members, has been set up and will take charge gradually through to the end of the year.
The new team includes: Martial Lecat, Chairman Myrtil (Holding); Philippe Combette, chairman Safic-Alcan; Jean-Michel Guyon, chief financial officer; Philippe Cenreaud, managing director rubber & plastics; Juliette Gamez, chief digital officer; Yann Lissillour, managing director CASE & industrial specialties and head of group M&A; and Jose Lora, managing director life sciences.
“We are confident that this new organisation will ensure the necessary transition between generations and prepare the company for the challenges of the coming years”, stated Martial Lecat and Philippe Combette in a joint statement.
