Sumitomo raises prices on Falken-brand tires in North America

Rancho Cucamonga, California – Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc. is raising prices on a limited number of Falken-brand consumer and commercial products in order to properly position the tire lines in the marketplace.
The firm is increases prices on its Sincera SN250 A/S passenger and Wildpeak A/T3 light truck tires by 3%. It is also raising its RI130, RI150, RI151, BI830 and BI850 truck tires by 5%.
SRNA said the price increases will reflect the value of the Falken brand more appropriately.
The Rancho Cucamonga-based company last raised prices in February 2017, increasing prices on all Falken- and Ohtsu-brand passenger, light and medium truck tires by 5 percent on a weighted average.
