London -- Rubber prices remained rose over the weekend. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed up by five yen, closing at yen 283 ($3.68) per kg Monday 16 January. Shorter-dated prices also increased to close at yen 265.
In Singapore, TSR20 for June delivery was trading up by 5 cents at $3.49 toward the market close. Short-dated contracts also rose by about 5 cents, trading around $3.42 a few minutes before the close.
In India, NMCE said February deliveries closed at Rs 193 ($3.74).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw March 2012 deliveries close at Yuan 26.4 ($4.17) per kilo.
