Trelleborg, Vibracoustic to announce JV this year
ERJ staff report (DS)
Stockholm, Sweden -- The proposed automotive anti-vibration joint venture between Trelleborg AB and Vibracoustic is taking longer to agree than previously expected. Nevertheless, it is still expected to be completed before the end of this year.
Trelleborg has delayed its scheduled stock analyst meeting from 30 Nov 2011 into the new year. At the event, Trelleborg was expected to give details of the proposed 50/50 joint venture for antivibration solutions for light and heavy vehicles.
In a brief statement, Trelleborg said, "An agreement on the formation of the new company is expected to be signed during the fourth quarter of 2011. However, the continuation of the process is dependent on the decisions and processing times of relevant competition authorities. "
