Rubber prices ease below $4 in Tokyo

London -- Rubber prices eased once more over the weekend, continuing to test downward limits. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract fell by about 8 yen, trading around yen 307 ($3.99) per kg on Monday 03 Oct. Shorter-dated prices also fell, to trade just above yen 300..
In Singapore, SGX said RSS3 prices for February delivery also eased, but remained above $4 trading around $4.12. TSR20 for delivery in February 2012 also fell, by around $0.12 to $4.06.
In India, the NMCE said prices fell by half a rupee, with October deliveries priced at Rs 208.9($4.24).
In China, the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw prices uchanged, with October deliveries trading at Yuan 28.5 ($4.46) per kilo
