Rubber prices tested yen 300 on 28 September

London -- Rubber prices lost further ground overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract fell by about 4 yen, closing at yen 311 ($4.07) per kg on Wednesday 28 Sept. Shorter-dated prices also fell, falling below yen 300, but then recovering to close at 300.8.
In Singapore, SGX said RSS3 trading was thin with little movement in prices, October deliveries closed at $4.23. TSR20 for delivery in February 2012 was down $0.10 at $4.11.
In India, the NMCE said prices increased by two rupees, with October deliveries priced at Rs 212 ($4.35).
In China, the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw prices fall by nearly 1 yuan, with October deliveries closing at Yuan 28.8 ($4.51) per kilo
