Shanghai -- The fifth Reifen China event is to take place on 22-24 November 2011 in Shanghai, conference organisers Messe Essen confirmed in an 18 May press release.

The trade fair for the Asian tyre market will feature a number of leading Chinese tyre manufacturers, and this year, the range of products and services on display has been extended to the fields of garage equipment and wheel rims.

Some of the Chinese manufacturers already confirmed for the exhibition include Double Coin Group, Cooper Chengshan, Hangzhou Zhongce and Linglong Rubber. And the organisers said that as well as Asian players, international companies from Europe and America will also be showing their products and services.

At the event, there will be an outdoor “car drifting performance” show, where driving artists will test the most diverse tyres in extreme conditions.

Messe Essen noted that the Chinese car industry continues to register great demand and therefore the country remains an attractive market for the tyre industry. Last year Reifen China achieved a 30-percent growth in visitors compared with 2009.

Rubber Tech China will take place parallel to Reifen China, the organisers said. Reifen China will take place on 22-24 November 2011 in the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre.
