Lanxess employees to share Euro 46 million bonus

Leverkusen, Germany -- Employees of Lanxess AG will benefit from a euro 46 million bonus payout given to employees. Of this, some euro 28 million will be paid out in Germany - which makes an average of around euro 4000 eqch, among 7000 employees in Germany.
The bonus is calculated on the basis of Lanxess' EBITDA pre exceptionals, which is also the Group's principal controlling parameter. EBITDA pre exceptionals rose in 2007 by 6.5 percent to euro 719 million. The bonuses will be paid out together with salaries at the end of April.
