Raising cost of retreading materials in Europe, Middle East and Africa
Rovereto, Italy — Marangoni SpA is to increase prices for its retreading materials in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, the Italian group has announced.
Effective 17 Jan, the price rise covers products manufactured and/or distributed in the region. These include retread materials, rubber compounds, truck and earthmover retreads
The measure, said Marangoni, will apply "in all EMEA countries served by the retreading systems and direct retreading business units, with adjustments at the line and product family level."
According to Marangoni, the decision to increase prices was due to continuing rises in the company's own costs for energy, raw materials and logistics.
