Hutchinson rolls out “absolute” sensor technology

Paris – Hutchinson SA has developed an advanced measurement sensor with potential applications in sectors, such as automotive, aerospace, defence, rail and medical.  

Called Dymeo, the customised sensor is claimed to provide "absolute angle measurement, precise motion control and instantaneous speed measurement." 

 This custom-made device has been created to complement the range of magnetic speed and position measurement solutions, Hutchinson explained in a 6 Dec release

Dymeo, it stated, offers optimised performances to improve customers’ systems and is designed to adapt to operate in extreme environments.
