The value of exports as presented in US dollars up by 21% year on year
Beijing – China exported 53 million units 'new rubber tire' in November 2021, up 9% on the same month a year ago, according to official state figures.
The weight of tire exports in November 2021 arrived at 650,000 tonnes, up 7% on November 2020, said China’s General Administration of Customs.
The value of exports in November as presented in US dollars shot up by 21% year-on-year, to $1.6 billion.
Over the first eleven months of 2021, China exported 539 million units tires, registering a 25% rise from a year ago.
Export value jumped 25% from the same period in 2020, to $15.1 billion. Volumes in tonnage climbed 16% to 6.4 million tonnes.
China’s tire production in November dipped 3% year on year, to 80 million units, said China’s National Bureau of Statistics. In October the number fell by 6%.
Production over the first 11 months totalled 819 million units, up 12% on the same period in 2020.
