Hanover-based show postponed due to ‘escalation’ of Omicron variant
London – Tire Technology Expo 2022, originally scheduled to be held in early April in Hanover, Germany, has been postponed by six weeks.
The rescheduling was made due to the current "rapid escalation" of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 throughout Europe, organisers said in a statement 20 Jan.
The show will be held 18-20 May in Hanover at the exhibition centre Deutche Messe in Halls 19/20/21, Uki Media & Events announced.
“We are making the change in order to ensure a safe, comfortable, confident and productive event for all in 2022,” said Tony Robinson, founder, TTE.
“Our aim is to enable… all participants to enjoy the show in the early summer when many of the complications associated with Covid-19 are less impactful,” he added
