London - Automotive News Europe and SupplierBusiness.com will announce the key findings of a major European supplier survey at the Automotive News Europe Congress in Vienna this summer.
The survey will provide an in-depth look at suppliers' relationships with the major automakers. It will give insights on how partsmakers in Europe deal with the challenges facing the industry.
The survey will also track changes since the previous survey was conducted in early 2005. Questions include:
- What do suppliers think of the carmakers they supply?
- Who are the most- and least-preferred automaker customers and why?
- What are carmakers' priorities?
- How do suppliers decide which contracts they really want to win?
- How do suppliers deal with the pressures coming from carmakers to cut costs and raise quality?
The Automotive News Europe Congress takes place June 20 to 22. It will focus on the key competitiveness issues facing the European industry. The Congress theme is: Europe unlimited; winning at home and away.â€
Featured speakers include Volkswagen Chairman Bernd Pischetsrieder and Fiat group CEO Sergio Marchionne.
