Kordsa Global increases revenues by 24 percent in Q1 2014

Istanbul, Turkey – Textile reinforcement specialist Kordsa Global increased its revenues by 24 percent in the first quarter compared to the same period last year.
The Turkish firm reported a revenue of 443m TL (€155m), while net profit was 35.9m TL (€12.5m). (March 2013: 0.4 million TL / €140,000.)
Profit before tax, interest and amortisation (EBIT) was 66.7 million TL (€23.3m) in the same period, which corresponds to an increase of 209 percent.
Cenk Alper, CEO, said the firm plans to increase revenues by 20 percent at the end of the year compared to 2013.
