Houston, Texas – The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers (IISRP) and its financial cosponsors, the American Chemistry Council’s Olefins Panel, and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) have announced the open registration for their International Symposium on the “Health Risks of Lower Olefins”.
The symposium will take place at the TCEQ offices in Austin, Texas on 5-6 November.
James L. McGraw, MD and CEO, said five speaking sessions are planned including a final day panel discussion. He also expects there to be up to 20 scientists to present their research on butadiene, chloroprene, ethylene and propylene.
The IISRP is an international not-for-profit trade association with more than 50 corporate members domiciled in 20 countries who produce 80 percent of the world's supply of synthetic rubber. Incorporated in 1960 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, the Institute supports section offices in Milan, Tokyo and Beijing.
