China outlines rubber industry growth in first six months

Beijing - China's rubber industry grew at a rate of around 5 percent in the first six months of 2012, according to the latest statistical report from the China Rubber Industries Association (CRIA). CRIA said, “the growth rate is significantly weaker than the previous year.â€
CRIA combined membership of 426 companies produced goods with a combined value of yuan 153 billion, an increase of 5.05 percent ahead of the same period a year earlier.
